my bronco 2 will sit for a day and the rear axle will be locked up or something i will put it in first and punch it it pops out and is normal until it sits again please help

Well it could be that you have chipped a tooth on the ring gear and the piece that broke off gets in way. Then when you move it might be knocked out of the way until it sits. Just a thought.

well ow would i fix it or should i replace the axle i can get one for 100$ but thanks for replying

Well if it was that then $100 to replace with another axel wouldnt be too bad. I would take off the diff cover and see whats doing it. It might be something that can be fixed easy without having to replace the whole axel. You never know until you dive in and check.

I suggest inspecting your brakes.

if you don't want to pull anything apart, the next time you park it, do not set your e-brake. if it does it again after that then pull your diff cover as suggested earlier in the post

I have never owned a Ford that did not do that if you drove in the rain. I have owned Fords for over 45 years, and yet to see one that didn't do that. they all do it at different rates of "stuck", and as suggested, it is the brakes. Check all your return springs, and check the wheel cylinders for ease of return to home position. If all check good then look at the brake pedal itself, insure it is returning to home position. If it does not come all the way up then the cylinders cannot return to home. If all is good at this point then pop the master cylinder off the booster unit and decrease the length of the pushrod for master by about 2 turns. This adjustment should be the last resort unless the master has been replaced since factory, then it should be first point of interest.
