 Post subject: coils spring question

im doing the dana 44 swap and i thank you guys for helping me out with the questions ive had so far... my next question is this..

i bent the tabs on the coil bucket but still can't seem to get the coils to seat right... what do i do? and the way they are seated on the radius arm feels kind of loose... i would expect it to be a firm fit.. any help would be great.. thank you

I used the upper to an EB so I dont know how you are going to get them to fit with the old B2 ones. Also the lowers should be tight or you rish popping the spring out on the trail which would be BAD. What are you using to secure the lowers to the radius arms? Any pics of the progress? That might help.

im using the early bronco btm plate and retainer on the radius arm.. the spring fits loose where the spring seat is on the btm plate and the retainer really isn't retaining anything... now for the bucket... im not sure what to do as far as getting the tabs configured for the top of the spring... thanks for the help so far

After looking at the eb lower spring retainer, I opted for one of Bob Meyers lower spring retainer which holds it nice and tight. I bet he still makes them for anyone who is willing to pay for them.
