If I had 2 differentials on my garage floor how would I tell the difference between the 8.8 and the 7.5. there is no ring gear on them and I know the open dif one is an 8.8. I am just trying to figure out if the other on is an 8.8 or 7.5, and it is a limited slip.

I would guess you could measure the ring gear bolt pattern and go from there.

personally I would take any amount someone would give you. They are all over the place in boneyards. I sold a D44 TTB for $50 and took the money and ran. I could not believe that someone actually wanted it....

I thought I was scoring a good deal when a guy offered me 2 complete dana 28 TTBs with drive shafts and all for free. :wtf:

I really should have realized something was wrong when the said if I take it he would bring it over and unload it for me.

Maybe I could make a unidirectional steered 4 wheel drive lawn mower with them.. :puke:
