considering doing a 4.0 swap in my 1990 bII just some questions. is there a prefered year explorer or minivan i should try to find an engine out of? anyone that has ever done this what kind of gas mileage difference should i expect? i have a 1990 bII 5 speed with manual hubs and am getting about 20 right now. how difficult will the wiring be? any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you read my write up on the main page? I think I talked a little about the years...

I didn't realy watch my gas milage but I don't think it was that much better. I tend to drive and have fun then to try to get better milage.
