 Post subject: transfer case mount

ive looked through the forum and posted once before and cant find an answer.... what do i do with my stock mount during the d44 swap process... my mount goes tight underneath the frame and wraps the outside of the frame right where my radius arm bracket will be mounting... please help i plan on doing this over the weekend

You might have to fab up one. It shouldnt be too difficult if you have the proper tools.

My 84 BroncoII's crossmember was on the inside of the frame. Only required a hole to be drilled in it. I have a few friends that just made their own crossmembers. Should be pretty easy to fabricate.

I made a new crossmember to alleviate that, mounted it on the radius arm pads. Could have possibly made something simpler or modded a factory unit but I just don't think that way.
