welcom to the board, I am going to move this post to the tech section because I think it will get more tech there!
I think axle size realy depends on how hard you plan to be on the truck. I am ok with a D44 but some people gotta have a 60 if you need it or not. don't get me wrong I would take a 60 if I found one cheap enough...
your frame should be fine if you think you need it just box and gusset where needed.
did you look around on the main page at all? nobody's SAS is a good step in search info for the solid axle swap.
bottom line, building a wheeler is a pretty universal thing. if you have built a truck before you already have a good idea of what you liked and disliked. the good thing is if you built 2 EB's you already know alot about the components you are going to be dealing with.
are you going full width or staying closer to the EB width?
