 Post subject: 1 2 3 Blocks

I have two sets of 1 2 3 blocks, I used to use them everyday for a previous job and I use them from time to time in the garage for setup work now. These are made within three tents of a thousandth (.0003") so they should be good for shop use.

But if the surface you are working on isn't true, then what good are they? I think I need a visual example.

Depending on what you are doing will determine how the base surface needs to be but I often use plate steel or the drill press table.

i use those all the time. great for setting up machines, i have found. lee valley tools also carries a selection, made by veritas.
